PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for allowing a mobile device to detect more base stations by a highly detectable pilot.SOLUTION: A system 200 includes a memory 216 operatively coupled to a transmitter 204. The memory 216 identifies symbols for transmitting a highly detectable pilot and stores related information. The memory also retains instructions related to combining the symbols and sending the highly detectable pilot.
