摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a swirl flow to exhaust gas that has passed through an oxidation catalyst with simple configuration in an exhaust emission control device for supplying a reducing agent to the exhaust gas that has passed through the oxidation catalyst and reducing and purifying a nitrogen oxide by a reduction catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device includes the oxidation catalyst 2 for oxidizing a nitrogen compound in exhaust gas; the reduction catalyst for reducing and purifying the nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas oxidized by the oxidation catalyst; a communicating tube 6 disposed between the oxidation catalyst and the reduction catalyst and supplied with the reducing agent; an upstream cap member 4 having a cylindrical part 21 with one end fitted into a casing 3 that holds the oxidation catalyst, a top part 22 blocking the other end of the cylindrical part, and an elliptic opening 23a opened toward the side to allow exhaust gas that has passed through the oxidation catalyst to flow to the communicating tube; and a pressure regulating plate 12 disposed in front of the elliptic opening in the inside space of the upstream cap member to generate a pressure difference between a first portion on the opening side and a second portion on the opposite side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
