The ladder 2 comprises a plurality of sections 4, each section comprising tubular rungs 6 extending between a pair of tubular stiles 8, the stiles being releasably end 10 to end 12 connectable via male 14 and female 16 connecting formations. Each male connecting formation may be inserted into and chemically bonded to a female holding portion of a section. The ladder may comprise hooks and loops for fastening the sections together. Each section may have a carbon and Innegra (RTM) hybrid outer ply covering for protection from damage. The male connecting formation may be moulded carbon. Each section may have rectangular rungs and stiles, and be mouldable and non-metallic. The ladder may include a head restraint and webbing straps. The rungs may be concave. |
