<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism preparation using microorganisms capable of exhibiting excellent oil and fat-degrading ability even under a low-pH condition, and to provide a method for treating a waste liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The microorganism preparation for the oil and fat degradation contains Raoultella planticola. The method for treating the waste liquid includes degrading the oil and fat in the waste liquid by adding the microorganisms to the waste liquid containing the oil and fat.
