<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost detection meter capable of saving space with a simple configuration and efficiently detecting hydrogen or helium left in a test piece. <P>SOLUTION: A detection meter M comprises: a metal filament 1; a grid 2; a filament power source E1 which applies direct current electricity to the filament; and a grid power source E2 which supplies the grid with a higher voltage than the filament. The detection meter also has detection means 3 which: lights the filament by applying electricity thereto through the filament power source so as to allow the filament to emit a thermal electron; and measures emission current between the filament and the grid. The detection meter detects (a density of) hydrogen or helium from the emission current measured by the determination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
