The present invention relates to a vehicle navigation system capable of checking locations of other vehicles which shares information such as a location and speed of a nearby vehicle, and whether the nearby vehicle decelerates to improve a convenience of driving the vehicle. The vehicle navigation system capable of checking locations of other vehicles comprises: an LCD input unit which allows a vehicle driver to click a corresponding point on an LCD screen to generate key data corresponding to a clicked point; a transceiver unit to communicate with a vehicle navigation system of a different vehicle to transmit information about the vehicle of the driver and location information of the vehicle of the driver, and to receive information about a different vehicle and location information of the different vehicle; a GPS input unit to receive GPS information from a GPS satellite to calculate location information of a vehicle; a map information storage unit to store map information and a variety of information; an LCD display unit to display the location information of the vehicle and road driving information to a destination on mapped geographic information; a central processing unit to control the LCD display unit to output the location information of the vehicle generated using the GPS information received by the GPS input unit in accordance with a request of the vehicle driver using the LCD input unit and the map information stored in the map information storage unit to a screen, and use the information about the different vehicle and location information of the different vehicle received by the transceiver unit to display the different vehicle on the LCD display unit; and a voice output unit to output a guide comment or a voice signal in a melody while outputting to the screen of the LCD display unit.
