QUANTUM ROD DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a quantum rod display device which interposes a rod layer between first and second substrates wherein the rod layer includes a quantum rod having a first aspect ratio and a nano rod having a second aspect ratio, which is the same as or higher than the first aspect ratio, and applies an electric field to the rod layer so as to display an image. In the case, the first aspect ratio of a quantum rod participating in emitting light is relatively low so that quantum efficiency is not lowered by an increase in an aspect ratio and an alignment degree of the quantum rod is improved by the nano rod having the relatively high second aspect ratio, thereby improving off features and polarization features of the display device.
