Disclosed are a light emitting device and a method of fabricating the same. The light emitting device includes: a light emitting structure including a first conductive semiconductor layer, a second conductive semiconductor layer, and an active layer between the first and second conductive semiconductors, and including first and second surfaces; first and second contact electrodes which make ohmic contact with the first and second conductive semiconductor layers, respectively; a first electrode which is located on the first surface of the light emitting structure and electrically connected with the first conductive semiconductor layer; and a second electrode which is located on the first surface of the light emitting structure, and is electrically connected with the second conductive semiconductor layer. Each of the first and second electrodes includes a sintered metallic particle body. Each of the first and second electrodes includes an inclined lateral side having various tangential slopes to a lateral side of a cross-sectional surface. |
