The present invention relates to a driving circuit for a display unit, and more particularly to a gate driving unit including a shift register, and a display device including the gate driving unit. The present invention provides a shift register for a display device, which sequentially outputs gate voltages by using a power voltage, a base voltage, a start voltage and a plurality of clocks, and includes a plurality of stages subordinately connected, wherein each of the stages comprises: a pull-up thin film transistor for gate voltage, which outputs one of the clocks as a high-level voltage of the gate voltage; a pull-down thin film transistor for gate voltage, which outputs the base voltage as a low-level voltage of the gate voltage; and a pull-down thin film transistor for an QB node, which applies the base voltage to a gate of the pull-down thin film transistor, and wherein pull-down thin film transistor for an QB node is switched in response to one of the clocks which are applied to the pull-up thin film transistor for gate voltage. |
