Disclosed are an ordering method based on drive-thru and an apparatus thereof. The objective of the present invention is to separate an ordering section and a receiving section, make a clerk placed in the receiving section manage an ordering apparatus and enable a customer to order foods based on an easy and convenient ordering interface operating in the ordering device. The ordering method through the drive-thru includes the steps of: determining, by an order management apparatus, a vehicle entering the ordering section based on an image captured through a first imaging device of the ordering apparatus and changing a standby state of the ordering apparatus into an order beginning state; displaying, by the order management apparatus and in the order beginning state, information for available menu and video information of the clerk captured in real time by a second imaging apparatus of the ordering management apparatus through the ordering apparatus, and receiving order information determined by the customer of the vehicle based on the information of the available menu; displaying, by the order management apparatus and in the order beginning state, expected payment information based the order information through the ordering apparatus; and changing, by the order management apparatus, the order beginning state into an order completion state when order is completed. |
