PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-manufacture heating roller for an image forming apparatus, having simple structure and excellent durability.SOLUTION: A heating roller for an image forming apparatus includes a columnar core body, an intermediate layer laminated on a circumferential surface of the core body, and an outermost layer laminated on an outer circumferential surface of the intermediate layer. A heating layer is arranged between the intermediate layer and the outermost layer. Resistance of the heating layer is 0.01 to 500 Ω/m. The heating layer preferably includes resin as a major component. The resin is preferably polyimide. The heating layer preferably contains a conductive filler. A primer layer is preferably arranged between the intermediate layer and the heating layer. A melting point of the heating layer is preferably equal to or higher than 200°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
