PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finder that allows either of a subject image on a focusing plate and a picture of a display element to be brightly observed in finders enabling an observation of the subject image formed on the focusing plate and the picture formed by the display element via common eyepiece means.SOLUTION: A finder system has: an observation system allowing a light flux based on a subject image formed on a prescribed plane to transmit two or more optical planes arranged at a different angle relative to an erected image formation member and an optical axis, and guiding the light flux to an eyepiece lens; and a display system allowing a light flux from a display element provided in the vicinity of the erected image formation member to reflect upon two or more optical planes, and guiding the light flux to the eyepiece lens, and in the finder system using the observation system and the display system to observe both of the subject image and the display element with the same field of view, one of the optical planes has an air gap provided, and a light ray from the display system is totally reflected at least one time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
