PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system in a public space, where a specific lighting system can be controlled only by a specific user, while allowing proper operation.SOLUTION: A lighting system has a surface light source 1 capable of lighting control and/or color matching, a touch panel 2 having an area capable of displaying information, and generating a control signal of the light-emitting state of the surface light source 1 depending on the touched area, by detecting contact with any area, a control unit 3 for controlling the light-emitting state of the surface light source 1 depending on the control signal, and an authentication unit 4 capable of authenticating a specific user.
