PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomass power generation system achieving high power generating efficiency by reducing heat loss in each of steps from raw material charge until power generation.SOLUTION: A biomass power generation system 10 comprises: a carbonization apparatus 14 that performs carbonization of a biomass raw material 12 to produce a biomass carbonized product 16, takes in a part of gas and tar generated in the carbonization and uses the taken in gas and tar as another heating source for the carbonization; a carbonized product gasifier 18 that includes gasification chambers 20A, 20B in which the biomass carbonized product 16 is charged, and that supplies combustion air to the gasification chambers 20A, 20B, heats the biomass carbonized product 16 to generate combustible gas; a gas engine power generator 40 that combusts the combustible gas to generate power; a waste heat boiler 42 that uses the exhaust gas of the gas engine power generator 40 to generate steam; and a steam power generator 44 that uses the steam generated by the heat exhaust boiler 42 to generate power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
