PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition that can suppress deposition deviation or aggregation irregularity and shows excellent re-dispersibility, and an inkjet recording device including the ink composition.SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises a coloring material, water, and polymer particles having a core-shell structure comprising a core polymer and a shell polymer, and does not substantially contain 1,2-hexane diol or an alkyl polyol having a standard boiling point of 280°C or higher. The shell polymer includes an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer and an aromatic vinyl monomer as structural units and has a glass transition temperature of 70°C or higher. The glass transition temperature of the shell polymer is higher than a glass transition temperature of the core polymer.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
