PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protective film for an optical member or an electronic member excellent in drawability, and operability upon pasting and peeling.SOLUTION: Provided is a surface protective film used by being pasted on an optical member or an electronic member and for protecting its surface, including a supporting body having a hard softness of 5,000 to 45,000 mN cm and an adhesive layer on either side of the supporting body. The supporting body contains one or more kinds of buffer layers selected from a composition for forming a buffer layer including an energy line polymerizable compound and a resin film for buffer layer formation, and in which indentation depth (Z) required for the arrival of a compressive load when the tip of a triangular spindle indenter with a tip curvature radius of 100 nm and an inter-ridge angle of 115° is indented to the buffer layer at a speed of 10 μm/min reaches 2mN is 2.5 μm or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
