PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servo motor control system which does not use a dedicated bulk high-capacity circuit as an inverter circuit or a converter circuit for driving a motor for a buffer.SOLUTION: The servo motor control system includes: a plurality of first servo motors for driving shafts of a machine tool or the like; a plurality of converters for converting an AC voltage into a DC voltage; a plurality of first inverters for converting the DC voltage into the AC voltage; a second servo motor for rotating an inertia; a plurality of second inverters for converting the DC voltage into the AC voltage; and a servo motor control device for controlling the plurality of first and second servo motors. The second servo motors are less than the plurality of second inverters. At least one of the second servo motors includes a plurality of independent coils. The plurality of second inverters are at least partially connected to the plurality of independent coils provided in one second servo motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
