PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colorimetric method that can reduce the time for colorimetry while maintaining the range of brightness.SOLUTION: An imaging device 12 outputs imaging data obtained in a predetermined exposure time and a brightness determining unit 36 determines whether the brightness of the imaging data is in a predetermined range. If the brightness is out of the range, the exposure time is changed and imaging is performed again. If the brightness is lower than the determination value, the exposure time is made longer and imaging is performed again, and if the brightness is saturated, the exposure time is made shorter and imaging is performed again.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
