PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic rolling-reduction control device to accurately obtain an adjustment value for adjusting a control gain of a hydraulic cylinder at a rolling-reduction side and an open side.SOLUTION: A hydraulic rolling-reduction control device controls a position of a piston of a hydraulic cylinder for adjusting an interval between work rolls of a rolling mill, and includes: an actually measured value acquisition section for acquiring an actually measured value of the position of the piston in the hydraulic cylinder; and a control gain adjustment section for adjusting a control gain when a hydraulic control section for controlling an oil inflow into the hydraulic cylinder controls the oil inflow into the hydraulic cylinder, based on a command value of the position of the piston and the actually measured value of the position of the piston. The control device outputs an adjustment signal having a vibrating position command value at a predetermined frequency to the hydraulic control section, and determines a differential pressure compensation value for adjusting the control gain between moving the position of the piston of the hydraulic cylinder in a direction to narrow the interval between the work rolls and moving the position of the piston of the hydraulic cylinder in a direction to widen the interval between the work rolls, based on the actually measured value for the adjustment signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
