PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve passenger restraining performance of an air bag by quickly fitting the air bag into a recessed space of the air bag in front of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An air bag device 10 for an automobile includes an air bag 12 configured bag-like using a first base cloth 21, and a second base cloth 22 which constitutes a part of a vehicle front side of the air bag 12 when expanded and developed, being arranged at a position facing a recess 30 (recessed space) and a space 28 positioned in front of a vehicle of the air bag 12 when expanded and developed, and is made from a material capable of stretched than the first base cloth 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
