PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving the peeling resistance and durability of a printing layer.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire in this invention is characterized in that a printing layer is formed on the outside surface of a sidewall portion; protrusions are formed on the periphery of the printing layer; and in a sectional view in a tire width direction in an unloaded normal condition of the tire mounted to an application rim and filled with a normal inner pressure, regarding the inclination angle formed by the perpendicular drawn from the top of the protrusion to a virtual outer contour line of the sidewall portion and the sidewall of the protrusion, the inclination angle of the sidewall at a side adjacent to the printing layer is larger than that angle of the sidewall at a side that is not adjacent thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
