PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for analyzing phthalic acid ester in a resin, capable of simply and promptly determining whether or not the phthalic acid ester exists and determining whether or not the phthalic acid ester is any of DEHP and DINP.SOLUTION: The method for analyzing phthalic acid ester in a resin comprises determining whether or not the phthalic acid ester is any of DEHP and DINP by extracting a plasticizer in the resin at room temperature by using alcohol or alkane and analyzing the extract by infrared spectroscopy. The apparatus for analyzing phthalic acid ester in a resin comprises a processor for determining whether or not the phthalic acid ester is any of DEHP and DINP from a peak position of a wave number lower than 2000 cm, spectrum pattern comparison processing, peak intensity ratio calculation (CH-/CHand CH-/C-O), a peak ratio, and a threshold value to display the determined result on a screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
