PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of reducing a malfunction state due to noise or the like.SOLUTION: A driving signal generation circuit 10 generating a driving signal COM for driving a driving element 55 provided to a liquid discharge head 50 comprises: an input section U1 sequentially inputting data B1 having a predetermined bit number; an addition section U2 adding the data B1 having the predetermined bit number to previous output data B2 and obtaining new output data B3 for each predetermined cycle T1; a conversion section U3 converting output data from the addition section U2 into the driving signal COM; a determination section U4 determining presence or absence of abnormalities of the data B1 having the predetermined bit number; and a return control section U5 causing output data B4 input to the conversion section U3 to be data having a predetermined value when the determination section U4 determining the presence of the abnormalities.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
