PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated plastic peeling device capable of efficiently peeling the coated plastic of a bellows-like plastic coating flexible steep pipe without damaging the tip of a mechanical cutter.SOLUTION: The coated plastic peeling device 1 according to the present invention includes compression mechanisms 3, 4, and 5 for continuously compressing a moving plastic coating flexible steel pipe 7 (hereinafter, referred to as "coated steel pipe") including a flexible steel pipe 7a and coated plastic 7b to set the cross-sectional shape of the coated steel pipe to be continuously flat, a groove forming mechanism 5 for forming, in the moving and flat coated steel pipe, a recessed groove continuous over the entire length of the coated steel pipe in a longitudinal direction, a coated plastic cutting mechanism 6 for cutting the coated plastic along the groove at the portion of the groove of the moving coated steel pipe, and a carrying mechanism 2 for moving the coated steel pipe to feed it to the compression mechanisms, the groove forming mechanism, and the cutting mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
