PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugated diene polymer for obtaining a rubber composition which can simultaneously improve low fuel consumption performance, workability and abrasion resistance for automobile tires and others.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a conjugated diene polymer obtained by polymerization of a monomer comprising a conjugated diene compound in the presence of an alkali metal compound or alkaline earth metal compound, the conjugated diene polymer having an allylsilyl group at at least one of a terminal and a side chain of the polymer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
