PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrally and conveniently manage an operation log related to a printer and an operation log related to an external device.SOLUTION: In a printer communicable with an external device, when communication with the external device is determined to be being established, in response to the generation of an operation log, the generated operation log is transmitted to the external device. In the meantime, when communication with the external device is determined not to be being established, in response to transition from the state in which communication with the external device is not established to the state in which communication with the external device is established, an operation log recorded in a prescribed memory is transmitted to the external device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
