The device according to the invention comprises a light source (ZS) with at least two multimode laser diodes, radiating in red (R), green (G) and blue (B) region of the spectrum, whereby individual beams have independently controllable intensity and are joined into one collimated concentric beam, by means of a dichroic mirror (DZ) and adjusted to approximately square cross-section with an aspect ratio of less than 1: 1.5. Such a laser beam is guided to the optical system (OS) comprising a lens (S) and the achromatic optical doublet (OD) having a focal distance greater than the focal length of the lens (S), wherein the optical doublet (OD) is lit up to its edge, thereby to form a full color light beam of circular cross section, a small divergence and homogenous distribution of light intensity in the cross section. The advantage of that solution is the simultaneous attainment of low divergence of the light beam (0 ø to 10 ø), and homogeneous distribution of light intensity in the cross section. |
