Provided is an image processing device comprising: an image input unit that inputs an image for enlargement and parallax information for said image; an enlargement ratio input unit that inputs an enlargement ratio for said image; and a focus region setting unit that sets the image focus region. The image processing device also comprises: an image separation unit that separates the image into the focus region and a non-focus region that is the region other than the focus region; and a blurring processing unit that blurs the non-focus region in accordance with the enlargement ratio. In addition the image processing device comprises: an enlargement processing unit that enlarges the focus region and the non-focus region after blurring, according to the enlargement ratio; and an image synthesis unit that synthesizes the focus region after enlargement and the non-focus region after blurring and outputs same.
