The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technology for increasing the voltage of a direct current link without increasing the power allotted by a power buffer circuit. In the present invention, a discharge duty (dc) which is a duty conducted by a switch (Sc) employs a value ((Vm/Vc)cos2 (ωt)) in which the product of a wave peak value (Vm) of a single phase AC voltage (Vin) and the square (cos2 (ωt)) of the cosine value of such phase (ωt) is divided by both-end voltages (Vc) of a capacitor (C4). The sum of the product of a rectifying duty (drec) which is the duty conducted by a converter (3) and a rectifying voltage (Vrec) output by the converter (3) and the product of both-end voltages (Vc) and the discharge duty (dc) fluctuates in a cycle equivalent to one-half of the cycle of the single phase AC voltage (Vin). |
