PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chromate-free colored metal plate excellent in design properties or the like without containing a hexavalent chromium with a high environmental load.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a chromate-free colored coated metal plate having a colored coating film (α) by applying an aqueous coloring composition (X) comprising organic resin particles (A) having an average particle diameter of 10 to 100 nm, a coloring pigment (B) and spherical silica particles (C) having an average particle diameter of 5 to 50 nm on at least one surface of a metal plate and followed by heating and drying, wherein the colored coating film (α) has a film thickness of 2 to 10 μm, the coloring pigment (B) is carbon black (B1), Y×Z≥20 and Y≤15 are satisfied when the content of the carbon black (B1) in the colored coating film (α) is defined as Y mass% and the thickness of the colored coating film (α) is defined as Z μm and the carbon black (B1) is dispersed as particles having an average particle diameter of 80 to 350 nm in the colored coating film (α).SELECTED DRAWING: None |
