PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing box that comprises a processing box shell body, a photoreceptor drum that is built in the processing box shell body, a power receiving part that is connected with the photoreceptor drum to supply power to the photoreceptor drum, an extension/contraction mechanism that extends/contracts the power receiving part in the axial direction of the photoreceptor drum, and a control mechanism that controls the extension/contraction of the extension/contraction mechanism.SOLUTION: Since the present invention has additionally installed a control mechanism that controls extension/contraction of an extension/contraction mechanism, when a power receiving part engages with a driving mechanism of an image forming apparatus or releases the engagement, extension/contraction of the power receiving part can be adjusted only through control of the extension/contraction of the extension/contraction mechanism by the control mechanism, and thereby, the engagement and release of the engagement between the power reception part and the extension/contraction mechanism of the image forming apparatus can be performed on a straight line, and trouble in the engagement between both components due to frictional loss occurring in the presence of a bending angle can be prevented. The technical problem has been solved in which: in a conventional processing box, at the time of engagement or release of the engagement between a power receiving part and a driving mechanism of an image forming apparatus, trouble is likely to occur to the engagement of both components due to frictional damage in the presence of a bending angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
