A gas-liquid separator (9) is provided with a container (13) having a separation chamber (19) in which a gas-liquid two-phase coolant caused to evaporate in an evaporator is separated into a gas-phase coolant and a liquid-phase coolant, and an outlet tube (14) for guiding the gas-phase coolant to a compressor (2, 3). The outlet tube (14) includes an intake (32) via which the gas-phase coolant is taken in, a straight part (29) passing through the upper lid (18) of the container (13) from the bottom part of the separation chamber (19) and protruding from the container (13), and a U-shaped curved part (30) linking the intake (32) and the straight part (29). An outer tube (41) is disposed so as to surround the straight part (29) of the outlet tube (14). The outer tube (41) has an upper end part (47a) passing through the upper lid (18) and protruding of the container (13), and a lower end part (47b) disposed in the separation chamber (19). A channel (43) via which a liquid coolant condensed in a condenser flows is formed between the straight part (29) and the outer tube (41). An introduction tube (50) for guiding the liquid coolant into the channel (43) is connected to the upper end part (47a) of the outer tube (41). A discharge tube (53) for causing the liquid coolant that has flowed through the channel (43) to be guided out of the separation chamber (19) is connected to the lower end part (47b) of the outer tube (41). |
