This mobile terminal capable of performing communication in a cellular system and another wireless system using a different frequency band has: a simultaneous communication determining unit that determines whether the communication is simultaneously performed in the cellular system and the another wireless system; and a notification unit that notifies a base station of the fact that the mobile terminal is in a simultaneous communication state, in the cases where the communication is simultaneously performed in the cellular system and the another wireless system.
