PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container which efficiently compliments deterioration of its strength resulting from reduction of sheet thickness, and to provide a lid body of the packaging container.SOLUTION: A lid body 2 of a packaging container includes a top surface part 20 and a lid side surface part 21 extending downward from an outer edge of the top surface part 20 and is thermoformed from a synthetic resin made sheet. Continuous ribs 50, which continue from the lid side surface part 21 to the top surface part 20, are formed. One of a portion of each continuous rib 50, which is positioned in the top surface part 20, and a portion of the continuous rib 50, which is positioned in the lid side surface part 21, has a recessed shape protruding to the sheet inner surface side.
