PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sensor that can specify an object in more detail than a conventional one without causing an increase in cost and size.SOLUTION: An optical sensor includes a light source 11, collimating lens 12, photodetector 13, polarization filter 14, photodetector 17, and a black box that accommodates these components. The photodetector 13 receives a p-polarization component included in internal diffused reflection light, the photodetector 17 is arranged to receive diffused reflection light.
