PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of the shape of an ignition plug cap and improve operability for attaching or detaching the ignition plug cap to or from an ignition plug.SOLUTION: An ignition plug cap that connects a plug terminal provided in a head of an ignition plug 2 to a high-voltage cord 3 applying a high-voltage current to the ignition plug 2, is configured where an outer circumferential side surface of a cap section 1a covered on the head of the ignition plug 2 is formed into a recessed shape over the entire circumference, a plurality of protrusions 8 is provided in the recessed portion in a plane orthogonal to a central axis 9 of the cap section 1a so that the protrusions 8 are each formed into a ring shape and protrude in a range in which the protrusions 8 do not exceed an outermost diameter of the cap section 1a, and a reinforcement rib 10 is provided on a side surface of the cap section 1a opposite to a side surface thereof on which the high-voltage cord 3 is connected to the plug terminal so as to extend in the direction of the central axis 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
