PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle interior member attachment structure capable of stably attaching an interior member to an interior material even if a skin material is wrapped around the interior material in a portion in which a sufficient space cannot be secured between a joint portion related to the attachment of the interior member and a vehicle panel.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a vehicle interior member attachment structure for attaching an interior member to an interior material 30. The interior material includes an opening portion 34A formed at a position retreating to a cabin outside in relation to a cabin internal side surface 31, a skin material 130 is stacked on the vehicle internal side surface of the interior material, and an excess length portion 130E that can be inserted into the opening portion is provided in an end portion 130T of the skin material. The interior member includes an interior-member-side flange portion 53 that extends toward the cabin outside in relation to the vehicle internal side surface 52, and a locking portion 54 that extends outward of the interior-member-side flange portion and can be inserted into the opening portion. The locking portion of the interior member is locked to the opening portion and the interior member is attached to the interior material by the insertion of the locking portion into the opening portion while the excess length portion is entangled in the locking portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
