Provided are a magnetic rotating arc bonding method by which bonding defects can be minimized with a simple configuration and a bonded body with minimal bonding defects. The bonded body (10) has a first metal pipe (21), a second metal pipe (22), and a bonded section (area including the bonding interface (11)) where end faces of the first and second metal pipes are bonded. An outer peripheral bead part protruding toward the outer peripheral side and an inner peripheral bead part (13) protruding toward the inner peripheral side are formed in the bonded section. The difference between the width of the outer peripheral bead part (width (L1) of ground part (12)) and the width (L2) of the inner peripheral bead part (13) in the direction toward the second metal pipe (22) from the first metal pipe (21) is 40% of the average between the width (L1) of the outer peripheral bead part and the width (L2) of the inner peripheral bead part (13).
