PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, when a machine is stationary, a rotor position determination method using EFLUX is ineffective.SOLUTION: A method for determining rotor position comprises sending a signal to a stator, receiving a first signal (VSa) indicative of a first estimated stator inductance, and receiving a second signal (VSb) indicative of a second estimated stator inductance.
