A multilayer ceramic capacitor and a board having the same are provided. According to an aspect of the present invention, the multilayer ceramic capacitor comprises: a ceramic body including an internal electrode laminated in a width direction and having a lead-out portion formed on an end thereof, and an external electrode disposed on a portion of a side surface in a lengthwise direction of the ceramic body to be connected to the lead-out portion; and a terminal electrode coupled to both end portions of the ceramic body, wherein the terminal electrode includes a horizontal portion disposed below the ceramic body and a vertical portion spaced apart from the side surface in a lengthwise direction of the ceramic body, connected to the external electrode, and having a groove portion, and a conductive adhesion layer disposed on the vertical portion of the terminal electrode to come in contact with the external electrode through the groove portion.
