PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storage container which enables a liquid discharge substrate side area to be filled with a liquid while reducing consumption of the liquid.SOLUTION: A liquid storage container includes: a housing; a liquid absorption member which is disposed in the housing and absorbs and retains a liquid; a filter disposed in a position facing a first surface of the liquid absorption member; and a liquid discharge substrate disposed at a position facing a surface of the filter which is opposite to a surface facing the liquid absorption member. The liquid absorption member has a through hole which penetrates from the first surface to a second surface which is opposite to the first surface in a tubular manner. A first surface side opening of the through hole opens in a position facing the filter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
