PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test method for verifying the earthquake-proof performance of a complex type tower construction which is equipped with oscillation dampers between plural structures, which is capable of easily performing the test method with a small power source.SOLUTION: The test method verifies the earthquake-proof performance of a complex type tower construction which includes a first structure, a second structure and oscillation dampers which are directly/indirectly attached between a first structure and a second structure. The earthquake-proof performance verification test method includes the steps of: a first step in which, under the state where oscillation dampers are mounted to the complex type tower construction, a forcible load is applied between the first structure and the second structure using a static load applying machine, and a relative displacement is given to the first structure and the second structure to make the distance between the first structure and the second structure change; a second step in which the load, given to the first structure and the second structure by the static load applying machine in the first step, is removed; and a third step in which, after removing the load in the second step, a free oscillation of the first structure and the second structure is measured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
