TRANSMISSION OF CONTROL INFORMATION IN WIRELESS NETWORK WITH CARRIER AGGREGATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send control information for supporting operation on multiple component carriers (CCs).SOLUTION: User equipment (UE) may be configured with multiple CCs for carrier aggregation. The multiple CCs may be associated with different uplink-downlink configurations and have different downlink subframes and uplink subframes. Uplink control information (UCI) for a secondary CC (SCC) is sent on a primary CC (PCC) on the basis of a UCI transmission timeline for the PCC (and not on the basis of a UCI transmission timeline for the SCC). A downlink grant for the SCC is sent on the basis of a downlink grant transmission timeline for the PCC. Uplink grants for an SCC are sent on the PCC on the basis of an uplink grant transmission timeline for the PCC.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8A
