PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous type vacuum cleaner capable of achieving both convenience in a cleaning start instruction by a remote instruction and a timer instruction, and safety in a cleaning operation.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner 1 includes a body case 25, a moving part 32 for moving the body case 25, a driving part 33 for driving the moving part 32, a secondary battery 26 for supplying power to the driving part 33, and a robot control part 35 for controlling the driving part 33 and causing the body case 25 to be moved autonomously. The robot control part 35 starts a cleaning operation according to an operation start instruction when it is determined that the safety around the body case 25 is secured, and suppresses the cleaning operation against the operation start instruction when it is not determined that the safety around the body case is secured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
