A mobile garbage bin 1 comprising a side wall and a base which together define an interior cavity 6, the wall comprising a plurality of stiffening formations 26 that extend along the side wall from the base, and one or more panels 4a, 4b located between the stiffening formations 26, the stiffening formations 26 and the one or more panels 4a, 4b being structured such that the or each panel 4a, 4b has greater flexibility than the stiffening formations 26 wherein the side wall is generally polygonal in cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and the stiffening formations 26 extends along mutually inclined faces of the side wall, and the stiffening formations 26 and the panels 4a, 4b are integrally formed such that the stiffening formations 26 have a greater material thickness than the panels 4a, 4b. |
