摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dual opposing cantilever pads that are easily manufactured and for a suspension flexure tail of a hard disc drive.SOLUTION: A tail end of a suspension flexure 600 includes a steel layer 601, a polyimide layer 602 on the steel layer 601, copper pads 603, and a polyimide cover 604. The steel layer 601 functions as a base layer. The copper pads 603-a and 603-b of a cantilever face each other, become close to each other at the tail end of the suspension flexure 600, are fixed at one end, and are not extended over a whole length from one longitudinal side of the suspension flexure 600 to the other side of the suspension flexure 600, thereby being in a cantilever form.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
