The present invention relates to an airbag of a vehicle, which comprises: an inflator from which gas is discharged; a cushion which is unfolded as gas flows in from the inflator; a vent hole formed for gas to be discharged to the cushion; a vent cover installed on the cushion to open and close the vent hole; a first tether connected to the cushion to pull the vent cover and to shield the gas discharged from the vent hole when the cushion is unfolded; and a second tether whose one side is connected to the cushion in a direction corresponding to the first tether and whose other side is connected to pull the first tether. Since the vent hole is consecutively opened, the internal pressure of the cushion can be controlled. The performance is improved to reduce damage to the neck or head of the passenger. Since a tether is used in the cushion, the supporting force is increased when the cushion is initially unfolded. As an additional tether release unit (TRU) or the like and a tube on an LRD vent are omitted, cushion manufacturing processes and costs are reduced. Since the vent structure applied to the inside of the cushion is simplified, the weight is reduced. |
