The invention relates to forestry and can be used for preventing fires in pine plantations around towns and villages, creating pine firebelts. A method for increasing fire safety against pine saplings comprises cutting subbranches of central pine shoots, wherein during the first two years at least twice an additional treatment thereof is provided by sprouting lateral buds in the central pine shoots. For further increasing fire safety of pine saplings mineralized strips are formed parallel to each other, for instance 1,4 m wide after each 50 meters. The technical result provides increasing fire safety of pine saplings by preventing the transfer of ground fire to crown fire, forming trimmed tree stem zone, thus increasing the yield of the most valuable tree stem part. |
