The present invention relates to an image synchronization method of a vehicle multimedia system, which can interwork with a mobile terminal. The image synchronization method by interworking with the mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a communication connection requesting step of receiving a communication requesting signal from a mobile terminal equipped with a camera in a wired or wireless manner; an authentication step of performing an authentication process to form a communication link with the mobile terminal; a step of forming the communication link with the mobile terminal if the authentication process is completed; a step of controlling the camera of the mobile terminal to be activated if the communication link is formed; an image reception step of receiving an image obtained by the camera of the mobile terminal through the communication link if a predetermined motion is sensed by the mobile terminal, or a steering angle or an acceleration change amount of a vehicle exceeds a preset reference; and a step of displaying the received image with a display unit. |
