Modular alarm system and method

The method involves initializing a platform monitoring module and an alert emitting module (102), where the monitoring module regulating an alert variable evaluated in a state representing a state of a sensor of a terminal. An alert session software object (100) and its evaluation module (C102) are activated. A data regulating the evaluated alert variable is sent by executing data sending program by the terminal. The alert emitting module is activated, when the evaluation module detects the state of emergency. An independent claim is also included for an alert system.
